12 Months - 17 Months

Here, we help build a child's sense of exploration! We continue to introduce letters, numbers, shapes, colors and beginning phonic sounds. We start each day with circle time, where we go over the nursery rhymes, sing and act out songs, show flashcards, and read age-appropriate books. Children begin to follow a daily schedule, including breakfast, lunchtime, nap time, outside time and snack time. We also start learning about ourselves and our identity.

18 Months - 24 Months

In this age group, we will have circle time, routine, and learning activities throughout the day and introduce more ahands-on, creative activities. Children learn about themselves, what they like/do not like, their teachers, along with their peers. It is potty time! We will be assisting the children with self-help skills. We are eager to encourage children who are ready to take on the next milestone.

2 1/2 & 3 Year-old

In this age group, we will continue to work on building their independence. We will encourage children to use their words and help make up their vocabulary. We continue to work on their social and emotional, cognitive, physical and motor skills. "Creative Curriculum" is introduced. We will educate all children by using a hands-on approach to learning. During the independence stage, this is exciting for the children.

On my way to pre-k

We encourage children to be more independent and ready for Kindergarten. Children will focus on learning to transition smoothly and quietly. We will continue to work on their social and emotional, cognitive, physical, and motor skills. "Creative Curriculum" will be continued. We will build on their vocabulary for pre-reading and focusing on phonics skills. Preschool is fun, challenging, and eager to learn.

School-aged

We do provide after-school pick up! The children come back to the center, where a snack is provided. The children can do their homework, have fun activities inside, or, weather permitting, the children can go outside to play on the playground. We also provide care during school breaks and summer breaks. We try to provide fun, and exciting field trips through the summer break and some during the longer school breaks.

Food services

Here at Creative Learning Hands, LLC, we provide healthy and nurtritious meals made here at the center. We provide breakfast, AM snack, lunch, PM snack, supper, and evening snack. Our goal is to help teach and develop healthy eating habits that the child can take throughout their school years. We follow the CACFP food guidelines.
